- 01Why we have to produce thermal barrier aluminum profiles?
- Because the thermal conductivity of aluminum profiles is very high, but the thermal conductivity of polyurethane(polyamide) is very low, if aluminum profiles is just connected with polyurethane(polyamide), this polyurethane (polyamide) can stop the heat transferred from outside to inside, then polyurethane (polyamide) play a role in stopping heat or cold transfer.
- Q2Performance difference between polyamide and polyurethane
- 1. Thermal conductivity is lower, it is quarter of polyamide
- 2. Shear strength is higher, 3.5 times of polyamide
- 3. Impact strength is higher, 2 times of polyamide
- 4. Percent elongation is higher, 8 times of polyamide
- 5. Polyamide can resist high temperature, but polyurethane can not resist high temperature for a long time
- Q3What is the difference of knurling machine and knurling machine with strip feeder? why there are two steps and three steps?
- knurling machine just can knurl the tooth in notch of aluminum profiles, but knurling machine with strip feeder can knurling and feeding strip
- a. because if you use three steps, knurling and feeding strip are finished at two machine, knurling, feeding strip and rolling , total three steps, then we call it three steps. but if you use two steps, knurling and feeding strip are finished at the same time, knurling with feeding strip and rolling, total is two steps, then we call it two steps;
- b. acturally, when you use two steps, first, knurling with feeding strip at one aluminum profiles, then knurling with feeding strip at another aluminum profiles, finish these two aluminum profiles, the aluminum profiles can connect with each other, operation is a little complicated than three steps;
- c. but when your request about output is not high, such as 3~5 tons per day, then you can choose one set of knurling machine with feeding strip and one set of rolling machine, you can save many cost
- Q4The request of temperature and transfer time
- 1. the temperature is between 150℃ and 180℃
- 2. the transfer time is between 7 minutes and 15 minutes
- 3. when you set the temperature and transfer time, you have to take the size and the thickness of aluminum profiles into consideration.Generally speaking, if the thickness of aluminum profiles is thick, you can choose longer transfer time or higher temperature
- Q5Why there is color difference after transfer? How to control the color difference?
- Because different transfer time and different transfer temperature will come out different color.You have to choose the most suitable temperature and transfer time for stopping color difference
- Q6What is the thickness of the heat-resistant bag? What is the width?
- Thickness is between 25μm and 30μm, width is between 20cm and 30 cm.If it is small aluminum profiles, you can put two pieces of aluminum profiles in one bag
